Cozy Chinoiserie Inspired Christmas Home Office
Welcome to my cozy Christmas home office—an inspiring little retreat where holiday magic meets chinoiserie charm. This space is where creativity flows, work feels calm, and festive touches bring joy to every corner. It’s where I spend lots of hours editing and creating content, shopping for and wrapping gifts. It’s a magical place to be everyday, but especially when she’s dressed for the holidays! From soft florals to whimsical cottages, each detail layers warmth and personality into this room. Let me walk you through the design!

Cozy Christmas Desk
My desk setup is the heart of the room—clean, serene, and dressed with sweet seasonal accents. A pink Christmas cottage brings a pop of cheerful color and instantly sets a whimsical tone. Beside it, glass Christmas trees shimmer gently throughout the day as the light hits them, adding a hint of sparkle without feeling overwhelming.
For seating, I paired my white desk with a beautifully upholstered French armchair, a touch of elegance that feels right at home in a chinoiserie-inspired space. Nearby stools, perfect for when family pops in or I want to spread out materials while working. The whole setup feels cozy, festive, and functional—everything a holiday home office should be.

My office tree seems to be your favorite tree every year! It’s a gorgeous, affordable 7.5 pine tree sitting in the most elegant french urn tree stand. I filled my home office tree with:
-
Pink peonies for a soft, feminine touch
-
White velvet dogwood stems to add volume and elegance
-
Eucalyptus for that fresh, organic feel
-
Frosted cedar picks for a wintery layer
-
Chinoiserie ornaments that tie the whole theme together
-
Green and gold ornaments in varying shades for depth
-
Luxurious velvet ribbon to finish everything with a polished bow
The end result is lush, romantic, and unmistakably chinoiserie—with the perfect balance of color, texture, and holiday glow. It feels like it stepped right out of the chinoiserie wallpaper!

On my French doors, I hung a pair of Peace on Earth wreaths that greet you the moment you step inside. Each wreath is finished with a teal green velvet ribbon, along with delicate bells and doves that symbolize hope, serenity, and goodwill—perfect sentiments for a holiday workspace. They add just the right amount of festive charm while still maintaining an elegant, peaceful vibe.
I gathered soft pink peonies and fresh eucalyptus and styled them inside a white footed urn, creating a mix that feels both elegant and cheerfully festive. Perched on my floral crystal martini table, the arrangement catches the light beautifully and ties together all the soft colors in the space. It’s a simple accent that makes the office feel extra special for the season and ties together the tree and the beautiful chinoiserie wallpaper in the room.

One of my favorite traditions is decorating with my Christmas cottage collection. I’ve been gathering these colorful cottages for years, and they never fail to make me smile. The whimsical shapes, happy hues, and tiny details feel like little storybook villages sprinkled throughout the room.
On my reeded front cabinet, I paired them with my colorful glass Christmas trees, creating a cheerful and nostalgic display that lights up the whole office. It’s a playful moment in an otherwise serene space—and one of my favorite views in the room.
