Food Storage Ideas
Store your bulk food essentials in canisters on your countertop.
There is beauty in the color and texture of basic food. Find a pretty canister and use vintage tea cups as scoops!
The canisters I have on our kitchen countertop hold, sugar, rice and flour. These canister as the largest size.
The canisters in our pantry are the 2 gallon size. They hold dry noodles, oats and candy. We received these as a wedding gift! They are still sold today! Our wedding china teacups are used as scoops. I love adding sentimental items to every room of our home. It really gives your home a heartbeat.
Pantry Storage Ideas
Use different containers to help you organize your pantry items.
These cereal containers are so easy for the kids to pour! Use a dry erase marker to write the expiration date on the bottom.
Air tight containers are great for holding pantry basics and help keep them fresh longer.
Bins are perfect for items in packets.
Lazy Susans help coral bottles and jars. Use high sides ones for your taller bottles and lower sided ones for smaller jars. These help keep food items from getting pushed to the black hole in the back of the cabinet.
Kitchen Drawer Food Organizers
To help keep your kitchen drawers organized, use drawers dividers! The ones I love are white (they come in wood finish options as well) and are adjustable to fit your drawer depth.
Wire baskets are great to organize chips bags and miscellaneous items. I really like the look of these baskets.
If you have drawers in your kitchen, store your cans on their side. This allows you to see the labels of all of your cans.
Kitchen Gadgets
This is my favorite drawer in the kitchen! These are a few kitchen gadgets that make life a little easier!
- Mini rechargeable vacuum – use this to vacuum out your drawers and cabinets. It is also great around baseboards, fridge and stove.
- Rechargeable lighter – to light your candles
- Wick trimmer – to trim your candles
- Kitchen Scissors
- Floral Scissors
- Box Cutter
- Gold rimmed drawer organizers
Baking Essential Organization
I love to bake, so I have lots of little baking items that need a place to land. Mesh bins and little jars with labels are my favorite organizing pieces to help me keep my baking items neat and tidy.
Kitchen Towel Organization
Fold all of your washcloths and dishtowels the same way. This gives your drawer a nice cohesive look.
Very nice layout and superb written content, very little else we need : D.
