Welcome to our summer kitchen! This season, our home is all about bringing cheerful charm indoors with fresh pops of blue and white, whimsical floral touches, and a hint of playfulness that makes every day feel a little bit like a garden party.

As you step into the kitchen, you’re greeted by the beautiful sight of faux blue snowball hydrangeas – I used 6 stems (similar here), fluffy white hydrangeas – I used 6 stems, and sunny daisy bunches – I used 6 bunches—all artfully arranged in classic blue and white ginger jars. These timeless pieces instantly elevate the space, adding just the right amount of pattern and color to the countertops and island.

Scents of Summer
To bring in the scents of summer, I lit my favorite summer scented candles, California Dreams—they fill the kitchen with a breezy, summery aroma that feels like a day at the beach. At the sink, I used my favorite french soap and hand lotion that smell amazing and are packaged with the most perfect summer style!

Whimsical Kitchen Accessories
Tucked nearby, my favorite checked pieces—the iconic teapot, mugs, and playful salt and pepper shakers—add that signature mix of whimsy and elegance I love so much. These pieces are perfect displayed year round. I especially love them paired with blue and white ginger jars for the summer.
These bamboo dinner plates stacked on the counter are functional and so pretty to look at during the summer months. I love to leave mine out on the counter for easy accessibility and functional decor!
Checked hand towels add another whimsical touch in the kitchen. Potted daisy arrangements flanking the range soften the kitchen. Use 5 bunches of daisies and one of these bamboo planters to create this look.

Summery Breakfast Room
Just off the kitchen, our breakfast room carries the same blue and white whimsy. The table is dressed in a blue and white buffalo check table topper, setting the scene for casual elegance. In the center, faux cosmos and cone hydrangeas styled in some of my favorite blue and white vases, echoing the color story of the kitchen. At the head chairs, I’ve added chamomile-printed throw pillows that feel whimsical, and perfect for summer lounging.
One of my favorite details? The daisy wreaths hanging on the windows, each tied with a blue and white striped monogrammed sash—a sweet custom touch.

Just beyond the kitchen, our butler’s pantry is styled for summer with a fresh yet classic touch. My blue and white ginger jar collection takes center stage, neatly displayed on French bistro-style shelves that add a dash of European charm. Each jar has its own personality, and grouped together, they create a stunning focal point that ties into the rest of our home’s summer palette. To soften the space, I added more faux blue snowball hydrangeas and white hydrangeas, tucked into vases and nestled among the jars.
