Guest Bathroom Reveal: A Touch of Luxury with Thibaut Katsura Wallpaper & Custom Marble Vanity
Hello, friends!
I am so excited to finally share the reveal of our guest bathroom, which has turned out to be one of my favorite spaces in the house! It’s amazing how a little bit of thought, a touch of personality, and some carefully selected pieces can transform a room from ordinary to extraordinary. In this bathroom, I wanted to create a space that felt inviting, stylish, and comfortable—after all, it’s a place where guests will feel pampered.
Let’s dive into the details, shall we?

Thibaut Katsura Wallpaper: A Statement Wall
When I first saw Thibaut’s Katsura wallpaper, I knew it was the one for the guest bathroom. The whimsical design with its delicate branches, flowers and birds offer a refreshing take on nature, bringing a bit of serene beauty to the space. The soft blues and subtle greens in the pattern also complement the light tones throughout the room, making it feel fresh and airy.
The Katsura wallpaper is certainly a statement, but it isn’t overwhelming—just the right balance between bold and elegant. I love how it serves as a backdrop to the rest of the room, and it’s honestly one of the first things people notice when they walk in. I couldn’t be happier with how it pulls everything together.
Custom Vanity with Marble Top: Elegance Meets Function
Next up, let’s talk about the custom vanity. I wanted something that felt timeless and luxurious but also practical. This vanity, with its clean lines and sleek design, does just that. The real showstopper, though, is the gorgeous marble top. The Aethos marble adds a sense of sophistication without being too flashy, and it feels so timeless—definitely something that will never go out of style. I love adding a modern spin on a traditional piece. The brass tip feet on the vanity give a gentle nod to a more contemporary style.
The custom build allowed me to get the perfect fit for the space, and I’m so happy with the combination of form and function. There’s plenty of storage for all the essentials, and I love the way the vanity elevates the overall vibe of the bathroom.
I found this similar style vanity that you could use to get the look at your home.
Finishing Touches
To complement the wallpaper and vanity, I chose a few carefully selected accessories to tie the look together. Think soft, fluffy towels in coordinating colors, a small floral arrangement for a touch of softness, and chic hardware that pops without distracting from the main features. The combination of all these elements makes the room feel welcoming and polished.
The lighting in the space is also key. I made sure to choose fixtures that are both functional and stylish, offering a soft, flattering sconces that enhances the wallpaper and marble without being too harsh. The overhead semi flush light is a showstopper! She’s called Trillion and it sparkles and adds so much charm to this space!
A clean lined mirror with brass button details in each corner hangs above the vanity.
I think there is something so charming about a tiered shelf in a bathroom. Our exact one is no longer sold, but this tiered shelf is similar.
