Elegant White and Gold Christmas Entry Tour
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and I’m so excited to welcome you to my first Christmas room tour of the season! We’re kicking things off in our entryway, where I’ve created a dreamy winter wonderland filled with shimmering gold, snowy whites, and touches of soft sage. This space is one of my favorites to decorate for Christmas, and this year’s look feels especially magical!

Our White and Gold Christmas Tree
The star of our entry is our gorgeous flocked fir tree ( 7.5′ tree), nestled inside a chinoiserie planter (21″). I wanted the tree to feel elegant, full, and overflowing with beautiful details. Start with the picks –white leaves, gold berries, delicate dogwoods, magnolias, sage and gold bay leaves, iced berry sprays and stunning gold protea add texture, sparkle, and dimension. An abundance of botanical picks to create that lush, designer look I love. I used 8 of each on my tree.
Next add white and gold ornaments in a variety of sizes, you don’t need that many to make a big impact! I always use these ornament hooks to secure them to my trees!
I finished the tree with luxurious white and gold velvet ribbon, tucked and woven throughout the branches. The combination of frosted greenery, soft florals, and warm metallics is absolutely dreamy!

A Staircase Dressed for Christmas
Our sweeping staircase is one of my favorite features of our home, and I love making it a statement during the holidays! You would never guess that these elaborate garlands started with a simple flocked garland (they are battery operated too)! They are attached to the railing with strips of velcro. My favorite, simple way to hang any garland!
The secret is layering! I tucked in coordinating botanical picks from the Christmas tree, repeating the magnolias, dogwoods, bay leaves, white leaves, gold berries, gold leaves and sage eucalyptus (2 per swag) to create a beautiful, cohesive look. Hand-tied bows made from the same white and gold velvet ribbon finish everything off. I love how the garlands flow along the staircase and bring the entire entry together!

Festive French Doors
For a simple but beautiful finishing touch, I hung sage and gold bay leaf wreaths on our French doors. Each wreath is dressed with delicate glass ornament bells and a white and gold bow. I used Command hooks to hang them, making this an easy, damage-free way to add a little Christmas magic to the doors!
The Little Details That Make It Special
I always say it’s the little details that make a room feel truly special, especially at Christmas!
On our entry table, I created a simple arrangement using translucent gold bay leaves, white magnolias, and a few delicate white berries. I added some beautifully wrapped gifts using leftover scraps of my wallpaper, finished with gorgeous gold ribbon. It’s one of my favorite tricks for creating custom-looking gift wrap that coordinates perfectly with your decor!
Next to our French settee, a white ginger jar tied with that same beautiful gold ribbon adds another festive touch. I also included more of my favorite crystal candlesticks, like the ones on our entry table, along with my favorite pine room diffuser. Nothing makes a home feel more like Christmas than the scent of fresh pine!

A Warm Christmas Welcome
I love how the soft whites, shimmering golds, and subtle sage greenery work together to create an elegant, welcoming space. By repeating the same ribbons, florals, and finishes throughout the room, everything feels beautifully connected.
I hope this first Christmas tour inspires you to add a little magic to your own home this season! I can’t wait to share the rest of our Christmas rooms with you in the coming weeks!
Wishing you a beautiful start to the Christmas season!
