It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The season change and the anticipation of the holidays make me giddy! Time to pull out those holiday decor boxes and light a yummy candle. My mom always added beautiful seasonal touches to our house. So seasonal decorating sends me straight back to my childhood! I think when we take the time to add special touches to our homes, it creates an environment of love for our families and friends. A place where fond memories are made and tender moments are shared.
One of my favorite places to add some seasonal magic is in the dining room. Here we gather to share yummy food, lots of laughs and create some fabulous memories! Last week I shared some tips on how to style your home for Fall and shared our home tour {you can see it here}. Today I want to take you on a little tour of our dining room all glammed up for Fall and show you how to set a gorgeous and SIMPLE Fall table for your home.

Set your table early in the season, so you can enjoy it the whole season! Create a centerpiece that will last, like this velvet pumpkin spread.
Velvet, cashmere, feather and lace pumpkins from Hot Skwash line the middle of our table in shades of gray, blue and cream. They are so beautiful on their own, they don’t need any flowers or greenery!
To create this centerpiece on your table, start with the largest pumpkin and nestle smaller ones around it down the center of your table. It’s that simple! I tucked some gold votives into the pumpkins for some soft lighting and a little sparkle.

Place fresh, white pumpkins at each place setting. Something fresh makes the table come to life. These will stay fresh for weeks! Adding gold chargers and flatware to these gorgeous plates makes everything pop! The plates are from one of my favorite brands, Arte Italic. You’ve heard me rave about them before for a reason, they are AMAZING! My favorite dishes. Period. You can use them for everyday, special occasions, or just to sit and look at. I do that a lot, because they make me smile!!! See mine styled { here, here and here}.
Invest in some table linens that you can use over and over. I’ve used this table cloth and these napkins more times than I can count. My daughter is already planning how she will use them in her home someday!
