Summer Home Tour – Simple Summer Styling Tips

My summer home tour is one of my favorite posts of the year! I love transforming our home to welcome the gorgeous summer days! The house feels brighter and happier.

Summer sunsets are one of my favorite things in this life! Their warm colors that softly kiss and transform everything in their path make the world feel magical. Pink and blue, cotton candy skies are especially my favorite. That pretty pink and blue combo was the inspiration for my summer home decor this year. This is proof that you can find inspiration for your home all around you. Find something that inspires you and use that to create something magical in your home.

Summer decorating should make you want to sit back and relax and enjoy some of those beautiful summer days and nights! With a few simple changes, our home welcomed summer. Today, I’m touring you through our home for a summer home tour using simply styling. Add just a few new accessories, switch up your bedding and throw in a few new pillows and your home will feel refreshed for summer.

Summer Home Tour – Simple Summer Styling Tips

The entry way was simply styled with some of my favorite ginger jars and a blue hydrangea bush. Gather a few items you love and create a simple vignette to welcome summer into your home.

Use a table topper to give your kitchen table a fresh summer feel. Ours reminds me of picnics at the park. I love the tassels! See how I styled it for outdoor entertaining here.

Create a little vignette with some white ginger jars, a wicker basket and a heart prayer beads for more texture.

Fresh flowers in the kitchen screams summer! Peonies are a summer favorite, but when you can’t find them anymore, use your favorite summer flower to brighten your kitchen. I love mixing pink and blue. Grab some pink flowers and arrange them in a blue and white ginger jar or blue and white vase. 

Mix in a few new throw pillows like these tassel pillows, for some summer fun. Find a few new accessories to liven up your room. I shopped my home and styled the coffee table with some blue and white jars and sprinkled some touches of pink through out the room. If you will be traveling a lot, use faux flowers for your summer styling. 

In the dining room, a gray table topper and a few flowers make the room feel like summer.
