Summer, the time of year when we kick back, relax and enjoy slowing down a little. It’s also one of my favorite times of the year to have friends over and enjoy a night together. We host plenty of BBQs were we pull out the paper plates, but there are some nights when we want to enjoy a special night in with friends. For those occasions it’s nice to have an easy summer tablescape that you can replicate in 15 minutes or less.
I have designed a tablescape that you can recreate in your home this summer when you entertain. It is simple, elegant and earthy.
For a centerpiece that you can put to together in minutes, use iceberg roses with fresh eucalyptus in a mercury glass vase, set on top of a silver cake stand. This type of roses look as though they were picked from the garden, earthy and natural.
Gray wicker chargers, layered with crisp white dishes, topped with our classic blue and white wedding china, are in keeping with the theme of an earthy, elegant, tablescape. White dishes are an absolute essential when entertaining. You can read more about what my dish essentials are in this post. Blue and white was so popular when I got married almost 20 years ago, and it is hot again today!
These crown engraved napkin rings from Pom Pom at Home are the jewels on the table. I love how they add a little sparkle and elegance.
Prayer beads draped down the center of the table add an unexpected element to the tablescape.
Pull out your dishes and set an easy summer table for your friends and family to enjoy this summer. If you are looking for some easy appetizer ideas, visit my progressive dinner post for some beautiful, simple recipe ideas.
Happy summer entertaining!!!!

Hi Randi, love your style especially the table scape. Please share how to keep your iceburg roses pretty, when i cut mine for table they wilt and get limp. Thank you in advance. B
Bring a pitcher of water outside with you when you clip them. Put them directly into the water when you clip them, and then change the water frequently. It also helps to keep them out of direct sunlight. I hope that helps! xo
Stunning table, loving it!
Thank you!!! xoxo
