As a little girl, I remember helping my mom pull out box after box of seasonal decor to help dress our home for each season. Opening each box was like welcoming home an old friend. Special pieces that were tucked away for a year, brought back fond memories of past years. Fall and Christmas made up the bulk of the garage space! So, it was a lot of work pulling everything out and styling it all.
Those were some of my fondest memories with my mom. I loved how our home felt when she was all finished dressing it to welcome the new season. It felt cozy and magical, a place I wanted to stay in forever.
Well, I still love to dress our home to welcome each season, but there don’t seem to be as many hours in the day as there was back then! I have tried to simplify my seasonal decor and focus on 5 spaces to dress up our home for each season. This makes the task seem less overwhelming, but still gives our home that cozy feeling.

Porch

Entry
Add a few touches to your entry. Whether you have a large or small entry, you can make a big impact with color and mother nature! By that I mean, use florals, pumpkins, large vases, to give your entry a dramatic fall welcome. Below are some Fall decor ideas to help you add some drama to your entry.

Mantel
Use your mantel as a showcase for Fall! If you don’t have a mantel, don’t worry!!! Use another surface in y0ur family room as your focal point. Maybe use your console or coffee table. The ideas I’m sharing could easily be used on one of those spaces instead of a mantel.
Table Centerpiece
During the rest of the year, I keep my dining and kitchen tables pretty simple. For Fall and Christmas, I like to go a little more bold. Sometimes I set just a centerpiece, but most times, I create a dramatic Fall centerpiece and set the table too. This is left up for most of the season to enjoy day in and day out.
