Flowers make tables come alive. Even the most simple floral arrangement can add drama and personality to your table. Recently I shared tips for setting the ultimate dinner party table. If you missed it, you can click here. Today, I’m giving you details on how to make an easy and dramatic floral arrangement for your table or for anywhere in your home! Here’s what you need…
1 | A small vase
I used a large votive candle holder that has a glass vase inside. You could use any small jar, vase or holder you have. Below are some I found for you { this post contains affiliate links for your convenience }…

2 | A variety of roses
To create the exact arrangement I created, you will need hot pink, pale pink, white and orange roses. If you are making multiple arrangements, you can call your local grocery store and talk to the lovely gal in the floral department. She can order any color and any amount for you.
3 | Some Greenery
A small bunch of greenery from the floral department, like this fern leaf will give your arrangement a finished look. You can use any greenery you have available to you. If you are lucky enough to have some in your yard, grab your clippers and snip a few stems!
After your supplies are gathered, trim your roses so that they will stand up a few inches above the rim of your vase. Pull off any leaves that would hang in the water. They will cause bacteria to grow in the water and will make your flowers die more quickly.
Next add 3 pink roses, spaced in thirds in the vase.
Trim 3 orange roses the same way, and place them in between the pink roses.
Repeat with white roses. Place them more in the center of the vase, one between reach pink and orange rose.
Grab one more hot pink rose, trim it and place it in the center of the vase
I added two pink roses and another orange rose to the middle of the vase to make it nice and full. This will make the arrangement feel luxurious. Every time you add a rose, make sure you trim it and pull the leaves off.
Last, take a leaf from your greenery bunch and trim it a little longer than your roses. Pull the lower leaves off as well. Tuck it into the vase under the roses. Repeat two more times.
