My kid’s last day of school is this week! So the unofficial start of Summer has begun at the Garrett house! As most of you, we live for the Summer months and love to entertain during this fun time of year. To help you entertain in style this Summer, I’m sharing some of my must have outdoor pieces for Summer Entertaining.
These pieces are functional, beautiful and budget friendly! All of the pieces I’m sharing today can be found at Wayfair – one of my absolute favorite places to shop for my home. They are my go to place to find special pieces for my entire home! Not only do they have a huge selection of products, their customer service is unbelievable! I can’t rave about their brand enough! Must Have Outdoor Pieces for Summer Entertaining
Seating
Outdoor seating areas are a must when entertaining for the Summer. Create little spots for your guests to sit and enjoy a drink and some conversation. I love these darling stacking bistro chairs. You can use them to create a large sitting area for a number of guests or to create more intimate settings around your yard. Leave them out all the time, or stack them away when your not using them!
Lounge chairs, outdoor sofa’s and dining tables are also fabulous options to create even more seating options for your guests. I’ll be sharing more of my backyard later this week in a full backyard reveal!
Shade
There’s nothing like sitting under a fabulous outdoor umbrella taking in a gorgeous Summer day! Umbrellas with a fun detail are my favorite! Scallops, piping and fringe add to the summer fun! We’ve got a few around our yard to keep our kids and guests cool!
Outdoor Serving Pieces
Outdoor entertain with food is a must! Here are some of my favorite serving pieces I love to use when hosting an outdoor gathering.
The large wicker tray is perfect to hold your outdoor plates and outdoor glasses or use to serve your favorite food dishes! Look closely at the photo above. The handle on the left is gold, the handle on the right is bronze. I rubbed a little Rub and Buff to my handle to give it the gold finish. It matched my decor so much better!
I LOVE these beaded ruffled plates! They are awesome for outdoor parties and indoor everyday use! I love using them for my kids too eat on inside. You can throw them in the dishwasher and microwave. Same with the diamond cut glasses.
My white pom pom napkins add some personality to the plate!
Every gathering is better with flowers! Check out these beautiful basketweave jars! I filled mine with faux hydrangea. If you wanted to use fresh flowers, just place a small vase inside the jar and arrange your flowers! You can also use them as a hurricane for candles!
Drink Cooler
Ice cold beverages top off the event! Our family is in love with this outdoor cooler! We bought a cooler cover for it and keep it tucked outside until we need it. Simply fill it with ice and your favorite beverages. You can wheel it inside and use it indoors too.
It has a bottle opener on the side and a plug in the back to drain the ice and water out.
