Welcome to Day 2 of 3 Days of Halloween! Yesterday I shared our porch and a special entry table {you can see it here}. Today I’m sharing how I styled our house for Halloween. Usually I take a classic spin on Halloween. This year, I decided to take a different approach and glam things up a bit! With all of the construction and projects we have had going on in our home this year, I have been craving clean! You will notice a lot of white and gold with a few splashes of black, in this year’s tour. Sit back, relax and enjoy our Glam Halloween Home Tour!
To recreate this glam entryway, just grab…
- gold lanterns in various sizes
- pillar candles {with a timer- these are my favorite, they are the most realistic and put off a yellow not orange glow}
- baby white pumpkins
- mercury glass pumpkins
- velvet pumpkins
- small silver cake plates
In the kitchen, I tucked away all of the blue and white. White canisters were filled with faux, white hydrangeas and topped off with a black Halloween spider. Little touches like a gold and white bowl filled with baby pumpkins and a charming Halloween art print, make the kitchen feel festive.
Try filling beautiful footed bowls with black candy for another splash of Halloween. The gold and white color scheme give the room that glam feel!
I wanted a simple centerpiece for the kitchen table. An urn filled with tissue paper, topped with a large velvet Hot Skwash pumpkin does the trick! To finish it off, I wrapped some black twig garland around the edge.
We’ve talked about the power of pillows before. Pillows have the power to transform a room! Here the combination of antelope pillows with an elegant chenille damask, give the room a richer feel. The coffee table is dressed with glamorous candles for cozy Fall nights. These hurricanes are my favorite {here}!!!
For the mantel, I used a few faux pumpkins and some black branches. To add some glam, I tucked in some mercury glass candlesticks and gold votives.
After a colorful Summer and start of Fall, I was craving a white room again. With all of the white and gold in the rest of the house, an all white bedroom seemed to flow. It is so so easy to switch up a neutral room! Nothing in this room changes except the bedding and new lamps. The room feels fresh and new! Here is a list of the bedding I used.
