Beautiful Candle Styling Tips
Group different sized candles together on a decorative tray.
Make sure your candles are varying heights. I like to group three together. One large, one medium and one small. You can mix colors to fit your home’s color scheme. Here I am using pink, I love it for summer and spring! The candles styled in my kitchen are my absolute favorite! They have a light fragrant scent that fills the house, but not in an overpowering way.
Use all the same scent, or mix your favorites! I like using the Rose Otto scent with Milk Rose and Rose Colored Glasses.
When the wax burns out, I save the vessels for vases and as jars for makeup brushes, silverware holders, and other miscellaneous ways. If there is a little wax left at the bottom you can pop it out with a butter knife or heat them in the oven on a low temperature until the wax melts, then dump it out and clean with warm soapy water.

Style large candles by themselves.
Use cutting boards and smaller decorative tray – like my marble petal tray, to style a large candle for a simple and impressive display in your kitchen. I love styling mine on my stove when I am not cooking. A small marble cutting board is all I used to dress this GORGEOUS candle up.
I can’t tell you how much I love these large 5 wick candles! They are a bit pricey but they last so long and you can use the vessel as a vase when the wax is gone. You can also use the lid for a small tray to style smaller candles. They are so beautiful!

Style candles on a simple table scape.
Candle light takes any table to the next level! Use lots of smaller sized candles tucked down the center of your table to warm it up and make it feel more homey.

Arrange a few candles on your coffee table.
Your coffee table is a great place to style candles. Just make sure you never leave the unattended. I love lighting our’s at night while we are watching a movie snuggles together on the couches.
Mix them with some coffee table books (these are all of my favorite), faux or fresh flowers ( here are some of my favorite faux florals), a few decorative accessories and a stylish tray. Here I am using another one of my favorite 5 wick candles with a few smaller candles. This milk rose scent is so light and fresh!

Use a candles to freshen up your bathroom.
Whether they are lit or just sitting out on your countertop, candles freshen up any bathroom. Their scents permeate those typically small spaces leaving them feeling a little brighter!
In our guest bathroom, I have a yummy pink citron candle set on the countertop nestled in with a faux floral arrangement.

Hi Randy,
Love Love Love your inspiration and ideas. I see in your gorgeous kitchen you mix candle scents. When all the candles are going, is there too many scents going at one time? I always use unscented candles in my kitchen but really love what you have put together.
Happy Summer,
Amber Rule
Hi Amber! No! These scents mix beautifully together! That is just one of the reasons I love them so much! xo
What does the milk rose candle smell like? Our stores here don’t carry anything like these but I don’t want to buy before I know the smell hehe
Haha, I totally understand! It is a very light rose smell, not perfumey. I love it! xo
Dear Randi, just like you I am a sucker for scented candles.
My favorite brands are Voluspa and Max Benjamin.
Milk Rose and Rose Otto by Voluspa and Blue Azure and French Linen Water by Max Benjamin are my absolute favorites.
