Bedding + Bath Essentials you can’t Live Without

You guys know how much I love white and how much we have it in our home! What you may not know is just why I love white pieces so much! When you are decorating a space, white is the perfect starting color. It serves as a beautiful backdrop for any color or pattern you would like to add. So really, it is the essential color to creating a versatile space in your home.

Using white essentials pieces in your bedroom and bathroom, allows you to decorate with countless color combinations! The possibilities are virtually endless. Today, I am sharing my favorite bedding and bath essentials you can’t live without! These pieces will help you create a collection of pieces to use as your basics throughout the entire year, no matter your color scheme.

For winter, I have pulled together all of my favorite bedding essentials to create a wintery wonderland in our bedroom. It feels like jumping into a cloud at night! You must have a staple white quilt! I love this linen diamond quilt and have used it over and over and over for years! It washes beautifully and is so soft. Use it with any color, pattern or style!

A good set of white sheets is also essential. We love these white sheet set with embroidered trim. Mix and match them throughout the year!

Start yourself a white euro sham collection filled with texture. Texture is key when decorating with neutrals. It adds interest and luxury. Don’t just use them in an all white scheme, white euros will be your go to whether you are adding some pops or color or keeping things simple. In my collection I have, faux fur alpaca shams, silky shimmery Tencel shams and some Mongolian fur euros. I recommend getting 3 of any euros shams you invest in because you can use them in various arrangements as well as in chairs.

Stuff them with my favorite down alternative inserts. These take your pillows to the next level! I like to buy my inserts the same size as my pillow cover for a fuller look. So if the pillow is 26″, I buy a 26″ insert.

For colder Winter months, style another white quilt at the end of the bed in a different texture that the main bedspread. I have this lovely, white satin quilt at the end of ours.

Finish the look off with a stunning white fur throw. This will become your best friend! Not only are they cozy, they can be used to fancy up so many spaces your home. IT is a true essential!
