Hands up if you love a good pedicure! Hands up if you can give yourself that perfect pedicure. I’m envisioning hands all across the world slowly being lowered, mine included! Lucky for you, I have a sister who is an esthetician who shared her tips for how to give yourself the perfect pedicure. I’m passing her tips onto you.
First a word about my darling sister ( I have another darling sister and 3 wonderful brothers too). She is 8 years younger than me, but we are so close. She is my go to gal for all things fashion. We have been fortunate to live either next door to each other or close by each other for most of our married lives. We’ve had babies weeks apart from each other. We have shared too many memories to count, have laughed until we cried and cried because she recently moved to New Zealand. A little piece of my heart went with her. Every time I paint my toes, you’d better believe I think of my sis and count down the days until she comes home.
These tips are for everyone, except you pregnant girls who cannot reach your feet! Girls spoil yourselves and go get a pedicure, you deserve it!!!
No. 1 | You will need
- Cuticle Remover
- Nail Polish Remover
- Nail Polish Base Coat
- Colored Nail Polish
- Nail Polish Top Coat
- Cuticle Oil
No. 2 | Remove existing nail polish
No. 3 | Take a q-tip and apply Cuticle Remover to each cuticle
No. 4 | Push down cuticles
No. 5 | Apply clear Base Coat on each toe
No. 6 | Apply 1st coat of colored nail polish to each toe { I love Sally Hansen’s Gel Nail Polish, it lasts forever }
No. 7 | Apply 2nd coat of nail polish to each toe {sometimes I like to add a little sparkle to my toes, the Sally Hansen Debut – Tint is my favorite glitter polish }
No. 8 | Apply clear top coat
No. 9 | Finish off by applying cuticle oil to each toe. Just pour a little bit on each one. Keep a cloth or paper towel underneath your toes.
