I spent more hours at my local Nordstrom’s shopping this year’s Anniversary sale than I did sleeping, and I loved every minute! The sale this year is SO SO good. My birthday is this weekend. So my birthday gift was to shop the sale. I took one trip with my daughter and one with my good friend. You guys the sale this year is AMAZING!!! This is the sale I look forward to the most all year. The sale is so big, and includes so many items, it can be overwhelming. I’m going to be breaking the sale down into categories to give you a girlfriend’s guide to the sale. Today we will go over my favorite finds for your closet and a few pieces my daughter found for her’s.

Your Closet

Let’s start with my favorite accent pieces. Blush is such a gorgeous neutral that can be added to soften almost any outfit. These velvet heels and Tory Birch bag are my favorite staple pieces from the sale.The shoes are so comfortable!!! They are velvet, a hot trend this season! The purse can be worn as a shoulder or arm bag or as a cross body! It is so versatile.

These pink velvet flats with bows had me at hello! They are the perfect shoe transitioning into Fall. I love them paired with these AG Jeans and white ruffle eyelet top. 

This white, double breasted coat is everything! It comes in pink too!!!

I love this wrap jacket that can also be worn as a shirt. It’s perfect for the fall. The jeans are also a favorite of mine.

These are AG jeans and they are amazing! The top is so darling and can be easily dressed up or down.

Can you tell how much I love this Ted Baker top?!!! It too can be dressed up or down and is a fabulous piece to add to your closet for the fall and winter. The black booties are comfy and a great price.

$50 jeans! Sign me up! These jeans come in lots of colors and are a steal at less than $50. The hoodie is so incredibly soft! I love the cute ruffle draping out the bottom.

Another cute hoodie that is a must have for fall! I paired it with some burgundy skinnies that are also only $50! A pop of leopard is always a good idea. The tee under is only $15 and comes in tons of colors. It’s a great basic tee.

My favorite makeup finds…

YSL lipstick is my FAVORITE! When I saw that Nordstrom was offering this set I knew it was coming home with me. Their lipsticks go on like butter and their colors are so creamy. This is a great set for yourself or a gift for Christmas.

This Mac lip set comes in 2 colors and comes with 2 small lipsticks and 2 glosses. It is a fantastic gift. Buy one for you and one for someone else.

This Bobbi Brown set is the BEST deal in the makeup department in my opinion. It has a retail value of over $350 and costs less than $100.

I had so much fun taking my daughter along with me to shop. We made a day of it and found some great back to school clothes for her too!
