Romantic Valentine’s Day Home Tour
Add a romantic wreath to your front door. For a tutorial on how to make this pink peony wreath {which you can use for Spring too}, click here. Hang heart ornaments from wreaths, chairs, around jars or various places in your home. Use a sequin runner and romantic dishes {glasses, plates, flatware, napkins – similar } to dress up your table. Blush pillows were added to the head chairs. I made our giant XO by spray painting cardboard letters gold. Hot glue ribbon to the back to connect them. Hang on a door or window for some whimsy! Use fresh flowers to add some romance to your kitchen decor. I love mixing pink tones. Put them in large and small vases.Make a simple heart wreath. You can click here for the easy tutorial.Decorate with decadent desserts. I bought mine from Trader Joe’s and added some fresh flowers on top. The pink cake plates add even more romantic detail. You can find them here and here. This is a fabulous way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with little work! These desserts are not only beautiful, they are delicious! My kids love the fruit tart. Add a few pink throws to soften your family room. You can find my favorite here, here and here.
Sprinkle a few heart accessories and some fresh flowers around the room. I love these heart stands and use them all year round. You can find them here and here. Add some romance to your room by adding some blush touches. You can see the full tour here with all the sources and details.

I love every little thing! Just gorgeous! I must go get more pink flowers now! đđ
Hi Linda! Thank you! Yes go get some more! xoxo
Love everything about this! Just beautiful! Where did you get the flowers for your heart wreath? I love it so much!
Hi April! Thank you so much! My flowers were from JoAnn. They are the “Realistic” flower line. They are a little more pricey, but they look so much better! xo
That kitchen, those floors……THAT OVEN!!!!! Soooooo beautiful! And quite the festive valentine’s day home đ Well done!
Thank you so much Lauren! I just love to style the house for each holiday! My mom did the same for us! Wishing you a lovely day! xo
Everything looks so beautiful! I just ordered the Antelope linen print covers, they look so gorgeous in your house that I hope they look that good in my home also! Randi, can you tell us the story behind your house? Your house has such beautiful moldings, I’m wondering if you did all of this work yourself or was your home this way when you bought it. I love the coffered ceilings and the crown molding in the bedroom. It looks like custom work. To me, it’s most importantly about the bones of the house, yours are exceptional!
Hi Lucy! Oh I know you will love it and that it will look so good in your home! Our house was a semi custom home. It had really nice bones. Like the arches and coffered ceilings. We have added the taller baseboards, moldings and decorative cabinetry over the years. I totally agree with you, the bones of the house really make the home. Thank you so much for your sweet comment and for following along! Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! xoxo
My husband (semi retired) often does the grocery shopping. I just added fresh flowers to the grocery list!
Oh that is so cute! Enjoy them and him doing the shopping! xoxo
Such a lovely home! I love the pops of pink! I passed up a pink throw the other day because I was out shopping with a friend and didn’t seriously consider it, now I know I want to hold back and get it. đ I love the color of your walls! May I ask, what is it? We are going to be moving soon, and I want to paint the walls of our next house that soothing color, it’s so rich yet calming, and versatile to be able to change up accessories seasonally like you’ve done. Thank you for this post!
Hi Angela! Yes! Go back and get that throw!!! Our paint is called Edwardian Linen from Ralph Lauren, I had it mixed by Dunn Edwards. Best wishes with your new home! xoxo
Thank you so much!!! I appreciate your sharing this with me! It’s so annoying to think you’ve found the right color paint, and paint a whole room, only to figure out later it’s the wrong color! âšī¸ I painted my dining room Palladian Blue. It’s the grayed turquoise I wanted in the morning, but it turns an awful shade of green in the afternoon! âšī¸ So you sharing your paint with me is like making a “tried and true” recipe! đ I’m excited to go with the Edwardian Linen in our next home! I’ve figured out I’ve changed what I like with decorating, I have 6 muted colors in our house now, but I’ve decided I don’t want so many colors in our next home, and I think Edwardian Linen will be perfect! Thank you again so much!
Your house is so lovely. I have been looking for some time for the right gold frame for a gallery wall and I love your size and style. Would you please share where they are from? Thank you!
Hi Sasha! Thank you so much for you comment! Our frames are from Frame Bridge. I love them! xoxo
Ahh everything looks so lovely and beautiful! I love the style and your home looks amazing!
Jane thank you so much! It was such a fun girly party! xoxo
I love your home! We have the same taste when it comes to decor and furnishings. Where did you get your lovely ottoman?
Hi Ileana! Thank you for your comment! You can find the link to my ottoman under the room tours tab – how to create a family friendly living room post. xoxo
