The outside of the house is the first place friends and neighbors see when coming to your home, but it is always the last place I decorate for Christmas! Haha! I like to start from the inside and work my way out! Well, our porch and entryway are finally decked out for Christmas and today I am sharing it as part of my Oh Holy Night Christmas Home Tour – Christmas Porch + Entry.
I’ve already shared our family room, kitchen and bedroom. Watch for my office, den and dining room coming soon!
For our Christmas front porch and entryway, I wanted to capture the magical feeling of the Holy Christmas Night. You will see lots of lights representing the new star that shone that sacred night and lots of Christmas trees symbolizing the tree of Life – a symbol of Christ. I hope you enjoy it and find lots of ways to recognize the love of our Savior this special Christmas season. He finds ways to show us His love everyday – just look for it.

Oh Holy Night Christmas Home Tour – Christmas Porch + Entryway
Each of our windows has a Christmas wreath (battery operated- mine are a few years old) hung with Command Hooks. Our entryway is a courtyard entry. So to fill in the space and make it feel cozy, I used large planters and lots of real and faux plants. To light them up for Christmas, I mostly used battery operated Christmas string lights.
Gold Wreaths | Gray Gold Planters | Gold and Gray Ornaments | Mini Christmas Trees | Gold Plaid Doormat (all c/o Frontgate) | Black Planters | Faux Olive Topiaries | Battery Operated Christmas Lights | Gold Ribbon | Gold Lanterns | Battery Operated Outdoor Candles | Crown Door Plaque – My dad and I made this
The entry opens to up to a french door leading out to our courtyard. I used gold garlands ( c/o Frontgate), that coordinate with the gold wreaths from the front, to dress up the outdoor fireplace.
Our entryway table had a parade of glass Christmas tree with gold branches nestled between them. You could also use a gold garland to recreate the look. A pretty ornament wreath is draped on the window to welcome guest inside.
Marble Table (No Longer Available- similar) | Beaded Chandelier | Gold White Lamps | Lucite Mirror | Gold Sconces | Gray Rug | Mercury Glass Trees (shop below)
Down the hallways, we have a few nooks that got styled for Christmas. I like to keep these chests pretty simple.
Gray Dresser (similar) | Gold Leaf Garland | Candle Votives (shop pictures below) | Sunburst Mirror | Gray Chest (similar) | White and Gold Vase | Faux Hydrangeas | Gold Leaves | Gold Lucite Sconces
Go deck your halls for Christmas! I’ll be back in a few days sharing our den and my office and dining room styled for Christmas. You may also like to see the rest of our Christmas Home Tour here.
