It’s a proven fact that blue is a calming color. Since my life is a little stressful with the building of our new home and the other happenings of life, I decided to use blue and white as the color inspiration for my Spring decor this year. The result is a setting that makes me feel relaxed and peaceful! I have a feeling many of you may have similar feelings in your life right now. Try using blue in your Spring decor to help your home feel like a relaxing retreat. It’s truly amazing how something as simple as color, can impact your life and mood. Today, I am so very excited to share our Relaxing Blue + White Spring Home Tour with you! I hope that some of these Spring decor ideas help you create a stylish, relaxing home for you and your family!
Before we begin, I wanted to share 3 things I do every change of season to get our home ready for the new season…
- Switch out the accessories, including rugs, pillows, throw and decorative accessories.
- Create faux floral arrangements that coordinate with the color scheme of the season.
- Refresh beds with linens that compliment the color scheme as well.
I used these 3 tips to sprinkle Spring around our home this year! Try using them when you style your home for a new season!
Here’s a look at our Kitchen and Family Room styled for Spring! I’ll be sharing our bedrooms and other spaces soon!

Cane accessories are a huge trend this Spring! I used these gorgeous cane vases to create a few white faux floral arrangements for our kitchen. The white cherry blossoms and white hydrangeas really add a softness to the house. I love their cloud like feeling.

The family features crisp and playful blue and white prints on cozy pillows and throws. A new striped rug gives the room a fun, fresh look for Spring! Can you believe how big the room looks with this affordable rug?! I love it so much!
Mixing prints like polka dots, greek key, stripes, checks and florals really adds interest and a playfulness to this room. Don’t be afraid to mix pattern! Keep them connected through a common color. The pretty pillows I am featuring for Spring are the same ones I used in my Summer home tour. The room feels so different just by using a different rug and new accessories.

Any advice I would greatly appreciate.
Where are your candlesticks on mantle from. Love them!
Your home is absolutely breathtaking! I feel anyone who enters your home would immediately feel very comfortable and at peace.
The new ones add more texture to sofa! Both are lovely but the first ones seem too matchy.
Your home is as beautiful as ever with inspiring changes each season,Randi!
