The Wren’s Family Room Reveal

Last week I shared the kitchen reveal at The Wren. Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and love! Today, I am sharing The Wren’s family room reveal. It’s just off the kitchen with lots of gorgeous natural light that floods into both spaces. The sunrise is breathtaking from this room! We wanted this space to be grand but homey. Tailored yet soft. Transitional, with a touch of glam to flow from the kitchen.

Our ceilings are 14 feet in here with Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace in Semi Gloss finish on the walls. We added lots of trim details in here for character and charm. There are so many details in this space I don’t want you to miss! We are still waiting on some art and furnishings to arrive, but I thought it would be fun to show you where she is now and update you on the process of getting her complete. You’ll notice some pieces from our previous home and some new ones. I love mixing fresh pieces with well loved ones. Let’s dive in and take the tour. Enjoy!

Our fireplace is the heart of the room. It is constructed out of a beautiful limestone with a herringbone brick interior. It is a gas fireplace with white aspen logs. We have a stunning piece of art coming to hang over it I can’t wait to share with you!

Our armoire was designed to compliment the kitchen cabinets. My favorite cremone bolts from Baldwin Hardware and the same gorgeous brass Latchford Knobs from Armac Martin bring her to life! It’s painted with BM Chantilly Lace as well. The tv is hidden behind the doors. I love that the tv isn’t the focal point of the room. We used the same Bianco Rhino marble as in the kitchen to divide the top from the bottom. The same crown detail featured in the kitchen, finishes off this beautiful piece.

I chose a to use a cozy daybed in front of the cabinet so people could lay or sit without blocking the view of the tv. It’s covered in a performance velvet fabric, so it’s virtually indestructible! You can completely customize the daybed with fabric and trim of your choice.

The Wren's Family Room RevealThe room is styled in soft neutrals for the reveal. I was craving calm during the move! I’ll be sharing her styled with some colorful spring, next week. I added some arrangements of pink peonies and cherry blossoms to add a splash of color to the neutral space.

I love the chandelier in here! It’s the perfect blend of modern and traditional lines. The fireplace sconces are breathtakingly beautiful as well! Elegant alabaster urn lamps flank the arm chairs. They sit on these exquisite white, brass and stone end tables.transitional family room

It gives it a whole new look! It is no longer sold, but here is a similar ottoman. Our sofa will be replaced with this gorgeous sofa coming in June.

My favorite opulent, neutral Arianna Belle Pillows top the room off with a touch of elegance. I have used these pillows in our home for the past few years, I love them so much!
