Today, I am so excited to be sharing Cole and Jack’s Transitional Coastal Teen Boy Bedroom with you! We designed their room to be large enough for them to share and allow our college aged boys to have a place to come back to as well. They love to all be together! My boy’s love the beach, so we chose fabrics, accessories and furnishing that feel coastal and transitional to flow with the rest of the house.
It is possible for your kids to love their space as much as you do! Choose a color scheme you both love, then weave in a theme that fits their personality. Find stylish ways to display the things that are important to them. My boys love shoes. They wear uniforms to school, so their shoes and their way to show their personal style. We displayed their shoe collection on these clear shoe hangers on the wall right as you walk in their door. It’s a fun way to store their collection as art. The hangers were so simple to install too!
A cool shelf that coordinates with the rest of their furnishings, is a perfect spot for them to display their favorite Lego sets, sports awards and memorabilia. Gathering it into one spot makes it look like a collection and less like clutter.
There is a full source list at the end of the post for you to refer to. I hope you enjoy their transitional coastal bedroom!

Beddy’s -We have 2 sets of Beddy’s that we alternate in the boys room.
One set is the Harper. It’s a light gray outside with a gray and white plaid inside. The other is the Riley, which features a blue and white stripe inside with a beautiful chambray outside. This bedding is so cool! It fits right over the mattress like a fitted sheet. There is a zipper around the top that you zip open to climb into bed. The set is lined with built in sheets. You can choose from cotton or super soft and warm, minky fabric. Simply zip shut to make your bed. So simple for kids! To wash, unzip the top from the bottom and wash and dry in your washing machine and dryer. Use my code RANDIGARRETT to save 20%. It’s good anytime on any of their products! We have one on Ellie’s bed too.

Love the design of your son’s room. That sneaker wall certainly looks familiar…my 15 yr old has a similar one 🙂
Incredible! This is spectacular. Your photos are top notch.
I love everything, just beautiful .
I was wondering where the
Mattresses came from?
I love the thickness of them.
Thank you
