Vibrant Spring Porch + Outdoor Decor

We’ve lived in our Santa Barbara style home in sunny Arizona, for 13 almost years! Our front porch / entryway has stayed relatively the same for those 13 years. Over the years, we have struggled to keep plants alive in this tricky area. It gets a lot shade but also extreme heat from the Arizona summer. This year, I finally decided to give our porch a makeover and end the battle of trying to keep plants alive and switch from live  to faux. Our porch is more of a courtyard, so there is a ton of space to get creative. I am so excited to share with you today the transformation of our porch! Here is a look at our vibrant Spring porch and outdoor decor! These ideas can be used on your porch or any outdoor spaces you may have. I hope some of these ideas help you brighten your outdoor spaces!

Almost everything I used in our courtyard came from Frontgate and is on sale right now with free shipping. Their pieces are breathtaking and timeless. They are one of my favorite places to find gorgeous pieces for our home.

The front door is made vibrant with this pink peony and cherry blossom wreath. I made this 3 years ago (wreath tutorial here)! I still love it and use it every Spring and Summer. This year, I added this gorgeous monogrammed wreath sash.

This gorgeous Ginger Jar doormat adds a fun pop! I love it so much!

The door plaque is a project my dad and I made together as few years ago.

On either side of the front door are these fabulous gray and gold planters (these are the largest size). Matt placed these realistic faux olive topiaries in the planter and filled them with cardboard boxes. Then he topped them with a layer of potting soil and fresh moss. The moss helps make the topiaries look real!spring front porch faux lemon trees ming planter faux lemon tree ming planter Vibrant Spring Porch + Outdoor Decor gorgeous spring porch

In front of the olive topiaries we places these stunning Ming hand painted planters {mine are the larger size}. These don’t have drain holes, so place them in a covered area or indoors. Look at these gorgeous faux lemon trees we added to our ming planters! I can’t believe how real they look!!! We filled the pots with cardboard and a small layer of potting soil again and topped it with the moss

An outdoor bench is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the day! I love the timeless feel of this Carlisle bench. Outdoor throw pillows are the perfect way to add personality to any outdoor space. Check out these gorgeous french blue stripped pillows with this custom fringe detail. In front of them are these beautiful monogrammed fretwork pillows. The shades of blue tie in with the Ming planters and other ginger jar details on the porch.

I love to sneak out here and enjoy some peace and quiet. The french blue French Bistro chairs come in a set of two and are so charming! Can you believe how cute the marble Bistro table is? You can select an iron top instead. I loved the look of the marble. It will also stay cool in the summer.

Vibrant Spring Porch + Outdoor Decor gorgeous spring porch pink white hydrangea wreath

On the front gate, I hung this pretty pink and white hydrangea wreath. We used the smaller gray and gold planters on either side of our entryway arch. The same faux olive topiaries topped with moss fill them. pretty spring porch Vibrant Spring Porch + Outdoor Decor Vibrant Spring Porch + Outdoor Decor

To keep the faux plants looking fresh, we blow them off every other week. You can also take a damp rag and wipe them off. I also spritz the moss every few days to keep it green. If the moss browns, you can remove it and add a fresh layer. A fresh layer of top soil will also do the trick.

Grab a new door mat, a few new pillows, a pretty wreath and maybe a new planter or two and give your outdoor spaces a fresh look for Spring! I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend!
