The Wren’s Dining Room Reveal is today and I am so excited to share one of my favorite rooms in the house with you! This is one of the first spaces you see when you enter our home. It’s a special gathering place for our family and loved ones. The room is filled with symbolism, charm and special details that make her one of a kind. The star of the room is the gorgeous, hand painted wallpaper completely customized for our home by Gracie. It is simply breathtaking! I’ll share more details on it later in the post. I just wanted to thank Jennifer Gracie and her team for creating such a beautiful masterpiece for our home. The walls tell a story and add a warmth to the room, almost as if you were being hugged when walking inside.
We fondly named our home, The Wren. She sits on a beautiful, quiet street with the word Wren in her street name. When we were deciding on a name for the house, I reached out to my friends on Instagram for help deciding which name to choose. A reader sent me this description on the bird, The Wren. Our family fell in love with the name even more, “A Wren appears before you, it is there for a reason. The Wren is an inspirer, it will inspire you to realize your dreams. This bird is frequently heard but seldom seen, you may of heard it and failed to get the message and so it appears before you, to inspire and motivate you into making your thoughts a reality. It takes just a day to build its nest and will attach it to the bark on the enchanted side of the tree, it will get the sun I’m the evening and will absorb the heat for the cooler nights. The Wren will come to you to guide you through the dark time. It has the ability to pick its own route through the brambles.”
Matt and my hope is that all who enter the doors of The Wren, feel like they are escaping the brambles of the world. That a warmth will envelope and embrace them and leave them inspired when they leave. That desire is extended to each of you as you visit through my posts.
I hope you enjoy The Wren’s Dining Room Reveal. It is so lovely to have you here.

The Wren’s Dining Room Reveal
My favorite piece of furniture in the dining room is this stunning mirrored Fontainebleau Cabinet from Caracole. I love the beautiful carved details that run along the edges and in between the doors. It coordinates with the dresser in our primary bedroom. Napkins and stemware are tucked inside. It holds so much!
Our dining table is also a Caracole piece. It’s the Feast your Eyes Table. I have had it for several years and absolutely adore it! I am so sad to say it is no longer in production. Caracole has several other tables I love, The Source is my favorite. It looks like the piece is currently out of stock, but you can leave your email address and they will contact you when it is back in stock.
If you want to read more about why Caracole is my favorite, family friendly, luxury furniture brand, please visit this post. I give lots of insight to why you need Caracole in your home! Their pieces are functional AND exquisite!
Let’s first take a closer look at the gorgeous hand painted wallpaper from Gracie. Since 1898, The Gracie family has been hand painting scenes. Each panel is painted by hand and can be customized – from the color, flowers, trees, birds, pots etc. I fell in love with their Parchment Vista pattern. We customized the colors to blend in with the colors in The Wren. The team added my favorite flower, the peony, into the design. Of course we had to include Wrens nestled into the trees. A nest filled with 5 eggs was painted in one of the trees to symbolize my 5 children. This is my favorite detail! Gracie wallpaper isn’t just a stunning addition to your home, it tells a beautiful story of those who live there.
One of the toughest choices what settling on just one design! They have so many gorgeous options to select from!
